Implementasi Metode Talaqqi Isyarah dalam Pembelajaran Tahfiz bagi Santri Tunarungu di Pesantren Tahfiz Difabel K.H. Ahmad Lutfi Fathullah Baznas Bazis DKI Jakarta

Abstract

This research is motivated by the need for Qur’anic learning that is appropriate to the characteristics of deaf students. Limited learning concentration is one of the challenges faced by deaf students in memorizing the Qur’an. Therefore, an instructional method that accommodates their learning needs and characteristics is required. This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of the talaqqi isyarah hijaiyyah letters method in tahfidz learning for deaf students at Pesantren Tahfiz Difabel K.H. Ahmad Lutfi Fathullah BAZNAS BAZIS DKI Jakarta. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The primary data sources consisted of one pesantren leader, one Qur’an teacher, and three deaf female students, while secondary data were obtained from relevant books and scientific journals. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis employed the Miles and Huberman model, consisting of data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was examined through triangulation, member checking, and confirmability testing. The findings indicate that the implementation of the talaqqi isyarah hijaiyyah letters method consists of three main aspects: learning planning, learning implementation, and evaluation. Learning planning includes the tahfidz curriculum, memorization targets, learning facilities, teacher preparation, and student matriculation. Learning implementation includes opening activities, teaching procedures, the use of sign language, learning time, learning challenges, and closing activities. Evaluation includes memorization assessment, indicators of memorization achievement, follow-up for memorization difficulties, and teacher evaluation.
